Aspace Navarra Foundation for Employment has received in Aoiz (Navarra) an award that credits it as the winner of the ninth edition of the BBVA Integra Award. Juana Zalba, president of the foundation, has received the recognition of the hands of the director of BBVA Spain, Cristina de Parias, in an event that was attended by the President of the Government of Navarra, Uxue Barkos. This award, endowed with 150,000 euros, recognizes the trajectory of this entity as a generator of sustainable and quality employment for people with disabilities, as well as its struggle for the full integration of people at risk of exclusion. The entity has 257 workers, of whom 91% have some type of disability. Cristina de Parias has visited the Ecointegra plant and the new warehouse, for the construction of which will be used the award received and which will increase the activity of the company by 30%.
During the event, Camino Osteriz (Director of Ecointegra Recycling Plant), describing the activities in which the plant is involved, made a small presentation of the RECUMETAL project to attendees of the event.
